Creven as a teenager

Creven storms in through his bedroom door slamming it shut behind him before locking it and throwing his bag onto his bed. Shaking his head he walks over to the windows and quickly draws the curtains shut wanting his own completely private space to think things over. Aspects of his life made it feel like he was going through hell, he'd watched others his age, going out, having fun, doing whatever they wanted and when they wanted, but Creven had specific rules to follow, times where he'd have to be in certain places and people always seemed to try to avoid him if possible. Yeah he was different, half Kitsune, his birth fox spirit of a mother dead and his father a high ranking member of an underground rebel society. A society who found delight in Creven's unique mental abilities, which they exploited him for. Only at his current age had he worked out and actually began to feel like he was being used; he was told his powers were amazing, that he was a great member but behind his back he'd heard the whispering, people planning his life for him, using him to their own advantage but not caring about Creven himself, how he felt, what he wanted. The only person in the world who seemed to give a damn about him was his own father, his one and only inspiration in life, the only person he looked up too, in fact the only person he actually liked. Creven sighs and sits down at his desk leaning his head into his hands, catching a glimpse at his most unusual natural feature; his violet tipped jet black hair. Smiling slightly Creven runs a hand through his fringe, the violet tips brushing against his cheek as he lets it fall back into place. The violet a key sign of his true heritage as a Kitsune, the sheer length and style of his full side swept fringe a statement that he would not let other people control every single aspect of his life, some, even the smallest part had to fully be his own decision, even if that was a decision to rebel slightly, make himself stand out a little more, to not be forgotten when he was no longer needed.
A knock on the door and the sound of the handle trying to be turned causing Creven to turn around quickly. He glares over at the door before standing up,
“Can I ever have even a slice of time to myself?” he yells over at the door edging slightly closer.
“And can’t I ever just have a normal conversation with my Son without being yelled at?” A reply in Corbin, his father’s voice comes back through the door. Creven smiles slightly before unlocking and opening the door.
“Sorry Father, I well…I wasn’t expecting it to be you,” Creven begins to explain as Corbin walks in. Letting the door close shut on its own he walks over to his father “You don’t often call this late, I had a small disagreement with-“ Creven continues before being completely cut off by Corbin.
“Small Creven? That’s not how it’s been described to me, not at all! You can’t just go infiltrating someone’s mind without permission, we’ve already had this conversation and you told me it would stop!” Corbin exclaims walking around the small box room in a tight circle before stopping in front of his son, “Jeremy Hunts is still unconscious in the medical bay Creven, God knows what damage you could have done, you have to be careful with whatever it is you can do.” he finishes before sitting on the edge of the bed. Creven walks back over to his desk and leans on it facing away from his father,
“Unfortunately Hunts will be fine,” he mutters lowly under his breath sensing his father’s disapproving look from behind his back, “I am in better control than the people here realise father, I can control these powers.” He finishes with a glace over his shoulder. Corbin sighs and shrugs.
“Really? Because today you demonstrated behaviour that is completely out of order, around here we all have to work together Creven, that’s how the Shadows works, through people communicating and having good teamwork skills.” He explains folding his arms looking up as Creven turns around, an unnerving smirk lining his face.
“Yes really, I just pushed him to the limit of pain which he could withstand before passing out, he’ll be fine within the next couple of hours.” Creven replies a smug tone to his voice. Corbin shakes his head disapprovingly watching Creven’s movements carefully as he leans against his desk mimicking his father by folding his own arms.
“You can’t just go around hurting people. I know he offended you Creven, something against your mother, but you have to learn to control this temper, before it consumes you.” His father tries to reason but Creven just laughs.
“Hurting them? They’re the ones always hurting me, pushing me to and beyond my limits! Everyday they use me for their own purposes; read this persons mind Creven, get so-and-so to do this, cause innocent people pain to get key information…the Shadows may work on teamwork father but it’s a cruel organisation, you all use people to get what you want, yes its effective but not humane in any way…if I have a temper issue its due to them, all of them, and it will snap every now and then especially when someone calls you and your family vermin!” Creven remarks his voice growing louder, “I have done everything anyone here has ever bloody asked of me and I get nothing in return! They talk about me behind my back, discuss experimentation techniques, I am half fox father and my fox, my animal instincts are telling me I’m trapped, I have to break free, you have to see that!” he finishes walking across the room to stand directly in front of Corbin. The older man shakes his head and sighs again before shrugging and unfolding his arms.
“Creven, I understand, but here you are safe, safe from the outside world, and the outside world is safe from you.” He states bluntly wincing slightly under the piercing violet eyed glare of his teenage son.
“Safe from me? How dare you say that!” Creven yells, “I am in perfect control of myself, my abilities. I could kill anyone in this building with a mere glance but I don’t even if I hate every single one of them.” Corbin shakes his head again,
“I didn’t mean it like that Creven, what I’m trying to say is that…well…you’re dangerous, untrained.” He replies not moving his eyes from his now laughing son.
“Yes you did, you think I’m unstable, you all do, that’s why you control my life so much, so my untrained abilities will remain untrained, not at full strength as the Shadows leaders see me as a threat, don’t deny it, I’ve heard the conversations and you’ve been involved in them, ‘he’s slightly unstable, exploring his abilities may push him over the edge, the consequences of that could be catastrophic!’” Creven says, his voice still lower than normal, just of a growl, motioning speech marks in midair while quoting his own father, “And perhaps your right, but the longer I stay trapped here, the sooner something inside me is going to switch. You know how I’ve been physically trained, I take out the strongest guys here, my marksmanship is unmatched…I’ve been trained to kill, I have killed, physically and mentally, and it’s so easy for me to do. Recently I’ve only felt angry, at everyone and everything! Father you are right I can’t control it for much longer, not here anyway.” Creven continues his voice softening slightly as he sits down next to his father. Corbin wraps a reassuring arm around Creven and glances sideways at him.
“I can get you out of here tomorrow evening, without anyone realising, but Adrix has a task for you in the morning Creven.” Corbin begins, his voice slightly sombre. Creven looks up at his father at the mention of Adrix’s name, the head of the Shadows, a ruthless man whom Creven had only met once before.
“Out of here, I didn’t think it was possible, you know my movements are monitored, I can’t just walk out,” Creven comments looking right into his father’s eyes pausing briefly before continuing, “I’ll do whatever Adrix wants, just help me get out of here father.”
“I will son, for you, you’re right about them using you, I won’t let it happen anymore, and don’t worry about how you’re getting out, just be ready to run when I say so.” Corbin explains and smiles slightly “You really do look a lot like your mother.” He comments, the smile turning slightly down at the edges, a flash of pain occurring in his eyes, “For you and her.” He adds before standing and walking towards the door. Creven lets him walk out without another word knowing that if his father had wanted to discuss his plan with him would have done, the lack of information suggested that Corbin was going to betray and trick his own people in order to help out his son. Creven couldn’t help but smile at that thought, although he knew he shouldn’t let his father take the risk Creven would follow it all through, he had too.

The next morning Creven woke early than usual from a patchy sleep. He yawns slightly before deciding to get up and shower, hopefully it would help to wake him up and clear his mind. Creven’s mind was still greatly on the conversation which he’d had with this father the night before, he still couldn’t work out his fathers plan by any means but decided not to worry about it, he first had to get through Adrix’s request and Creven’s gut instincts were telling him that it was something bad, very bad. He guessed It would be another interrogation, which no doubt would end up leading to another murder on Creven’s part. Sighing Creven glances over to the left front leg of his desk, thirty seven notches had be roughly cut out, thirty seven kills, approximately twice the number of Creven’s age, today he had a feeling it would end up becoming thirty eight.
Running a hand through his hair Creven rolls out of bed, placing his feet on the soft carpet before standing up and heading over to his ensuite, his usual first port of call in the mornings, he’d always loved a good shower, somehow he found a sense of calm in the water and warmth. Creven stands in the middle of the shower letting the water completely drench him before shaking his head and wiping his eyes trying to get some of the water away from his face as he eyes the floor wondering how long he could just get away with sitting there letting the soft water fall onto his skin. He smiles at the idea before frowning at a bleeping coming from his bedroom, sighing he turns the shower off and steps out wrapping a towel around his waist and grabs another to try to dry his hair, using one hand to ruffle it as he walks back into  his bedroom.
Frowning he reads a message on his paging device, Adrix wanted to see him in exactly an hour, precisely Ten AM, down in the main hall. Creven raises his eyebrows, an unusual location choice, all of the interrogation rooms where in Gamma Building, no where near the large hall normally used for meetings in Alpha Building. Shrugging he replies confirming his attendance before continuing to dry his hair while searching through his draws for something suitable to wear.
A few minuets later Creven stands in front of a full length mirror hanging on the back of his door, he smiles slightly as he tries to get his fringe to fall just right, the violet tips hanging just over his eyes, in bright contrast with his black hair, black shirt, black jeans and black shoes. Getting his fringe right he nods to himself smoothing his shirt down before grabbing his leather jacket out of his wardrobe, black to match everything else, he places it on his bed before rummaging around for any form of bag, may as well pack a few essentials just incase his father’s plan actually worked.

At exactly Ten AM, even to the second, Creven knocks on a large pair of wooden doors leading to the main meeting room, a place in which he been a few times during his time with the Shadows. Entering on command from within Creven scans around the room and stops in the doorway not quite believing what was before his eyes.
“Ah, Creven, what wonderful timing you have, I’ve been bragging to my…guests…about your skills, I forgot to add your sense of time, really quite perfect!” Adrix states walking across to Creven ushering him into the room, guards shutting the doors behind them. “Creven Calanon, meet the people of the village of Bloomsbury.” He announces motioning around the room.
Creven blinks following his hand, there had to be about fifty people in the room, huddled into one group. Mother’s holding their children tight to them, their men standing around them all in a protective stance. The room was silent but Creven could hear all of their voices within his mind, the children mainly scared, a few curious. The women fearing for their families lives, the men trying to tell themselves to be strong. Creven’s eyes retraced the group catching the eye of two young women, one in a simple summer dress, red blood stained handprints where she was massaging her swollen stomach, pregnant by many months, the other, older, rubbing her hands across the younger woman’s shoulder. Creven glances over at Adrix frowning “Why are they all here?” he asks simply, his tone of voice flat, giving nothing away.
“Well Creven, it seems these people have been keeping a few village secrets about certain activities, be a good boy and extract everything you can, from the eldest to the youngest,” Adrix starts looking at Creven before turning his attention back to the people “One of you will reveal the location of the gem stone I’m looking for, I know you know where it is…not revealing this information will result in all of your deaths.” He states, his voice turning dark and thick, so much even Creven had to resist a shudder.
“You will NEVER find it! So be it if we all have to die, we will protect its location!” A young man standing directly in front of Adrix yells over to him across the room. Adrix shrugs and smiles “See Creven, they do know…” he comments with a smile, twisted unnaturally into a grimace by a scar along his left cheek. Adrix leans slightly closer to Creven pointing over at the man “Kill him.” He states bluntly “Now!” Creven nods, knowing better than to obey before fixing his eyes on the man and takes a few steps forward.
“Please no…please…enough blood has already been split, must you spill more?” she pleads looking from Creven to Adrix. Creven avoids her gaze instead focusing on the man in front of his who squares his shoulders taking up and better stable stance, making the critical error of making eye contact with Creven.
Screaming with pain the man immediately falls to the floor, his body writhing in agony. Some of the group jump back quickly, only one other rushing to the man’s side in a vain attempt to help consol him. A few seconds pass, Creven keeping his violet gaze on the man before the room falls silent and the man lays still, perfectly still. The other shakes his head before leaping towards Creven, the pregnant woman bursting into tears.
“But there has been no blood split, Creven needs not to spill blood to kill, he’s…shall we say, effective and tidy.” Adrix laughs watching as Creven dodges the man’s attack sending a quick right fist into the mans face, a distinct crunch as the mans nose breaks beneath his hand. Stumbling backwards the man wipes away a trickle of blood from his nose. “So this is how its going to be Adrix, killing each of us, one at a time…I hope you think genocide of a village, a peaceful village is worth it.” He spits wiping his nose again.
“Oh it will be! I will get what I want, I always do!” Adrix replies with a deep chuckle placing a hand on Creven’s shoulder “Keep up the good work, I’m right behind you Creven.”
“I know…” Creven mumbles glancing over at Adrix before turning his attention back to the people. He’d never dealt with so many before, his abilities were untrained no way would he be able to influence and control them all at the same time, only those he could make eye contact with, and at best he guessed he wouldn’t be able to hold the contact with a lot of people for a long time. Creven nods before taking another step forward “Who’s next?” he challenges trying to get into the minds of the people nearest to him.

Adrix folds his arms as he takes a few steps backwards watching Creven drop two more men with his mind control. Smirking slightly he somehow felt proud of Creven, he had helped to train him, find his abilities and use them to the maximum, today was a huge test for him. Since his first kill Creven seemed to have gotten stronger, he didn’t seem phased by it, somehow it was natural to him, encouraged by Adrix’s need for a high quality interrogator, to get the information he wanted, whatever the cost, and to date, Creven hadn’t failed him. Some of his suspects had been driven mad with mind control, scenes forced into their minds of their families, loved ones in pain and dying. Immense pain killing off those with weak hearts, even some with strong hearts their body’s unable to cope. Adrix knew Creven kept an account of the people he’d killed but Adrix himself had a file on the one hundred and fifteen people Creven had interrogated, starting when Creven himself was fourteen, a mere three years ago. At sixteen Creven had made his first kill, actually on his sixteenth birthday, his father Corbin seemed both horrified but proud of his only son. Adrix pictured the scene clearly, it was an elderly man begging at Creven’s feet to stop the pain, a few minuets later and he was dead.
Adrix returns his attention to the present, he’d missed two more of the men fall, four were now advancing on Creven trying to surround him for an attack. The rest of the people trying to bunch together keeping the weak and venerable as protected as possible, but Adrix knew that in his mind it would do no good, he’d learnt from past experiences that once Creven was in killing mode it was hard to stop him, he had his goals and would only take success. Adrix smiles watching Creven take his fox form, the men jumping back slightly at the jet black fox now in front of them, the tip of its tail gleaming violet matching its eyes.
“Well well well, it appears that you’re awoken the fox…” Adrix laughs again as the first man dives towards Creven trying to wrap his hands around his body. Ably Creven resists wriggling free sinking his teeth into the man’s arm who tries to pull away only making the wound worse.  Creven releases him snapping at the shins of the others daring them to attack, his dare taken up at the next one lunges towards him. Creven snarls snapping his teeth in the mans direction feeling bones snapping beneath his teeth, small easily broken, fingers. His tongue searches the hand instantly tasting the sharp tangy iron taste of blood, letting the warm red liquid trickle down his throat as the man recoils another beginning his advance.

A hour later Creven looks up from his last victims neck, blood still pumping out of what remained of a tattered gaping hole. The man’s last breath had passed with a gurgling, choking on his own blood. His head dripping in blood Creven looks around the room, corpses once people scattered around the great wooden floor of the hall. Some clean, mainly the young and women, killed with just a look, a searing pain, a sudden brain haemorrhage. Others mainly men, those who tried to resist and attacked he’d taken out in fox form, biting at shins and knees forcing people to the floor before ripping out their throats or tearing flesh from their sides. Deep red puddles surrounded half the bodies, some still bleeding, fresh blood passing from the wounds. Creven laps a little up of the latest fallen, the blood still fresh, warm, pumped straight from the mans heart. Hearing a wimpering Creven looks up, huddled in one corner was the young pregnant women he’d first seen. Slowly he pads his way across to her, avoiding the bodies and blood, not wanting to mess up his fur even more, the killer instinct full on his mind, the only thing on his conscience, blood and death, he was the master, he was in control, he had the power over the life and death in his hands and no one could stop him. He loved the power, the feeling of being in absolute control, it was invigorating, thrilling, it excited him but at the same time it nearly scarred him to death, how could he possibly feel this way? This good after a masacure.
“Please, for my child, spare me…the gem…its hidden in the well in the village centre. Near the winch, the third brick down, second across. Pull it out and you will find the gem….please.” she mumbles, tears rolling down her cheeks, her eyes glazed over, hand running back and forth frantically over the bump containing her child. For an instant Creven pauses, what was he doing, she was helpless.
“Well done Creven…now…Finish her!” Adrix yells from across the room, still stood by the door, his arms folded having watched every more Creven had taken.
Swiftly Creven makes eye contact with the woman, his powers, his imposed visions causing massive shock, instant heart attack, a swift quick death. Finishing his task Creven turns back and faces Adrix he bows his head slightly before taking his human form and walks over to Adrix. His shirt now sticking to him with the blood, a few scrapes across his arms and cheeks. Adrix claps shaking hands with Creven before hugging him.
“We have the gems location! Perfect Creven…although this make take a bit to clean up…and you may run out of room on the leg of your desk.” He comments and Creven smiles, his eyes still violet, vivid and glowing.
“Glad to be of service.” He responds, his voice deep, thick, the tang of blood still on his tongue.
“Creven….what….what have you done?” Another voice comes from behind Adrix, the door just opened revealing Corbin. The man freezes on the spot looking out over what could have been a battle field. Adrix smiles at Corbin wrapping an arm around Creven as they walk over, “You’re Son has just proved his worth, he’s a true killer…I hope you enjoyed watching the video feed Corbin.” He states but Corbin ignores him his eyes going from the blood and bodies to the face of his son. Disappointment fell across Corbin’s face, what had he let his only son become.

To be continued….

Marriah gets kidnapped!!

<GRY> Valkyrie MarriahC sighs heavily as she wanders round downstairs in the hue castle that was her home. Well it still is her home, just lately it didn't feel much like it. Her parents were still away. The echo of her footsteps can be heard throughout the house. She heads to the front door, throwing on her jacket before walking out the front door, making sure it was shut behind her. Wandering slowly down the drive she stops at the gate, frowning as she hears sobs in the distance. Heading to the sound she sees a small girl with bright red hair, sat on the floor, her face buried in her and shaking. Marriah crouches down next to her "Hello. Whats wrong?" she asks. The girls slowly lifts her head up "My parents. They have left me. Left me here on my own" she bursts  into tears again and Marriah shakes her head "Whats your name?" "Jessica" the girls sniffles and stands up "I had better go." she mutters under her breath "I'm thirsty." Marriah nods, understanding, picking up the girl was a newly turned vampire. "Want to hunt with me?" Marriah asks, grinning. Jessica nods “Sure. I haven't done it with anyone before." she stands up, looking to the forest "I could kill a lion right now." she sighs as Marriah laughs "There are more things in there. Better than a lion apparently." she grins, walking to the edge of the forest. Jessica follow, a small smirk on her face, unnoticeable in the dark that was closing in. Marriah skips on ahead slightly, unaware of the danger that was closing in as  the seemingly sweet and innocent girl grabs Marriahs wrist as they enter the forest, rather tight for such a young one. Marriah frowns, looking over her shoulder as Jessica apparates them away  with a loud laugh, appearing inside a large, dimly lit room. "This should be fun" she smiles sweetly. Marriah scowls, confused "I ... what... Jessica? Whats going on?" "Oh well. My name isn't Jessica." the girl explains, her voice changing deeper, the small girls frame crashing to the floor as white smoke leaves her body and enters the body of a man, propped up against wall at the other side of the room. Marriah shakes her head "I recognise that voice." she mutters "And so you should." the mans body stands up "Thats better. Being in a kids body is not how I like to spend my time. But a lure was needed. Allow me to introduce myself. The names Kyson. You are Marriah Calanon, aren't you." that wasn't a question, Marriah knew. She stays still, Kyson walking around her "Yes, the hair gives you away. The smell of part Kitsune does too. Just like that father of yours. Ooh" he leans in, taking a deep smell of her "Part vampire too. That would be from your stinking mother." he laughs "This is payback dear, for the last time they killed me. Now" he pulls out a knife and Marriah's eyes widen in shock "Its time for some fun. It could be a long time. I know they aren't around. In fact, I know you are the only family member still in the castle." he smirks, digging the blade deep into her arm. Marriah bites her lip, refusing to scream or make a sound, knowing that would give him pleasure. Nothing would make him stop so why make him carry on. Kyson growls, digging the blade her stomach, then her upper arm, then her thigh, each time Marriah bites her lip harder, until the skin breaks and she swallows, not taking her eyes from him once. Kyson laughs and shakes his  head. He whistles sharply and a woman appears "Helen, dear. Be a sweetie and lead this poor bleeding half thing to the cells. I'm bored of her now." he disappirates on the spot. Helen leads Marriah to the cells as she was told, muttering under her breath "Its ok, I know your family, your aunt more than anyone. I will get the word to her that you are in trouble. I will make sure you are ok." she hands Marriah a small bottle "Drink this. Its a healing potion. I shall be back soon" Helen promised, with a small smile as she locked the door "Doing as I am told is so much better for us both now. I assure you." she explains quickly "There is no way out of here, no apparating, you wont even be able to try and call for your father." she sighs, turning on her heels "I will be back" Helen promises as she shuts the door to the cells. Marriah curls up in the corner, scared, the vial on the floor. She refused to touch it, instead holding her face in her hands and bursting into tears. Something she hadn't done for a long time, since the loss of her brother, Coran.
. Marriah sat in the corner of the room for what seemed like hours, turning to weeks, then to days. Helen came in a few times a day with food and drink for her. Marriah refused, as she refused the healing vial too, the bleeding has slowed a few hours after she had been locked in the cell. Sighing, her eyes flicker to the vial, in the corner collecting dust. Shaking her head, she curled back up in the corner, squeezing her eyes shut as the door to the cell opened "No. I don't want any more food, Helen." she whimpered. "Thats ok. Im not giving you any more food." Kyson's voice sneered through the darkness. Marriah squealed slightly causing Kyson to laugh "Oh well." he took a step closer to her, unsheathing a small blade as he held out a small vial in the other "Come on Marriah." he laughed "Time for some medicine." he taunts. Marriah shakes her head, kicking out at him "Get away from me. I'm not taking that poison." she whispered hoarsely as Kyson smirked, calling for Helen, who appeared behind him. He whispers a few things to her, as Helen keeps her eyes on Marriah, smiling softly at her. She nods and Kyson walks out. Helen walks over to sit with Marriah "Its ok. He has to go out for a few hours. Maybe days. Some war. I don't know." Helen shrugged, chuckling. "It means as soon as he has gone, I can get you out of here, take you hone and then come back and make it look like you escaped." Marriah stares at Helen "But...Why?" she murmurs. Helen chuckles and ruffles Marriah's hair "I owe your parents my life a few times." she smiles, before sighing, tucking her hair behind her ear "I haven't been able to get hold of anyone yet. Its like they have all dropped off the radar or something." Marriah snorts "Probably gone to get that new kid..." Helen interrupts "New kid?" she frowns "Kyson was on about a new recruit a few weeks ago. I thought he sounded familiar when I heard Kyson describe him." Helen stands up, hearing the noise upstairs get louder "He's gone." she holds her hand out to Marriah "Lets get you out of here." She smiles as Marriah takes hold of her hand, sanding up in her blood stained clothes. Helen leads Marriah out of the cell and into the corridor where she apparates them both back to the drive of Calanon Residence. Marriah's knees buckle in the heat and with the loss of blood. "Come on, child." Helen mutters, carrying Marriah into the castle and laying her on the sofa and pulling a blanket over her before explaining to the house elves what had happened, not in detail, adding that Marriah needed constant attention until her parents return. Helen waits for a motion that they had understood and they all nod. She glances over her shoulder at the sleeping child and darts out the house, runs down the drive and disapparates back to Kysons castle to set up ready to make it look like Marriah had escaped.

Araina meets Marriah!

<GRY> Firstyeargirl MarriahC kicks the front door open and throws her sister to the floor.
<SLY> Fifthyeargirl ArainaBlack screeches as she lands on her still wounded wings, flashing foward and grabbing her sister by the throat, "Don't you fucking TOUCH me."
<SLY> Firstyeargirl Irma trembles with fear under the table and cries softly as her aunt is thrown on the floor. She squeezes her eyes shut tight.
<GRY> Firstyeargirl MarriahC growls and grabs Arainas wrists, yanking them from her throat "Dont you EVER speak of dad like that! He made one mistake! Moms made LOADS!"
<SLY> Fifthyeargirl ArainaBlack sweeps her foot under Marriah, knocking her to the floor, "You sit there and act like dad is a fucking saint! At least none of moms mistakes tried to kill the entire fucking family!"
<SLY> Firstyeargirl Irma runs out from under the table and darts upstairs, locking herself in her aunt Rain's bedroom.
<GRY> Firstyeargirl MarriahC screeches, landing on the floor "What dad is doing is SAVING the family from breaking up! You complain about not seeing them! I've not seen them for YEARS! YEARS! Not months! she hisses watching Irma run upstairs "Hes no saint, but that bitch he slept with got what she deserved! She compelled Coran to kill Grandpa! I had to sit, watching, knowing I couldnt do anything to stop him! I WAS HELPLESS! Do you know how that feels?" she jumps up, darting to her sister, jabbing her shoulder "You dont. Not when it comes to this family! The best thing mom has EVER done, as far as Im concerned is kill her! Not soon enough though!"
<SLY> Fifthyeargirl ArainaBlack grabs Marriah's wrist as her eyes flash completely black and a different tenor enters her voice as she replies calmly. "First off, do not touch me. Second, I went without a family for almost three centuries, so do you know how bad it is to have something that you've wanted for your entire life and finally gotten, taken away from you like that? To have someone finally love you and then they are gone?! Third, I understand the bitch got what she deserved. Honestly, I would have done is slowly and painfully, but that's just the torture demon in me, I guess. And yes, I know how it feels to be helpless while you watch someone you love die." She twists Marriah's wrist, hard. "I had to watch while my father tortured the spirit out of my two month old daughter. Then, I got to lay there helpless while my own mother tortured me for days, letting her guards do things to me, making me want to die. You have no idea what the term 'bad mother' means. Our mother is amazing, you are just a blind, spoiled Daddy's girl." She snorts disgustedly as she releases Marriah's arm and strips off her jacket, letting her wings expand. Looking at them, her wounds have reopened from her fall and her wings are still broken and mangled. "Damn it, now look what you've done."
<GRY> Firstyeargirl MarriahC winces slightly as her sister grabs her wrist, closing her eyes to fight through the pain as she had been taught growing up "I will touch you if I want to" she growls lowly "I know what its like to have something taken away from you, something you want so badly. Everytime they come home, i think todays the day. Todays the day they will come and get us. But no. It never happens. Them SHE goes and gets pregnant again and suddenly they are all for this new baby, running off to rescue it from the Levels, wherever that is. I had to sit and watch my big brother beg the men who hunted him down, to kill him. He had no idea what he had done, they wouldnt listen to him. Wouldnt hear him out. He was scared, Araina. So scared." tears stream down her cheeks but she ignores them "He begged them to kill him and when they did, I felt like I died too. A part of me died with him. You wouldnt understand" she sniffs, rubbing her wrist as her sister lets go "If mom had dealt with HER when she had the chance months ago, this wouldnt have happened. Coran would still be alive and I wouldnt hate her." she takes a few steps back, staring at the wings "I did nothing. You brough it on yourself. Theres some healing vials of Aunt Leas in the kitchen if you think its that bad." she scoffs and walks out to the living room, throwing herself in her dads chair.
<SLY> Fifthyeargirl ArainaBlack balls her fists up in anger, rolling her eyes as her sister cries. When she opened up to her demon like this, she felt no emotion but anger. A blind rage. She follows Marriah into the living room, standing in front of the chair. "You left by choice, that is your own damn fault. And how stupid could you be?" Her voice become light and mocking as she asks, "Sweetheart, you do realize it takes two people to have a baby, right? Mom couldn't have done it by herself." Then she shakes her head, thinking about Coran. "You are right, I wouldn't understand. I wouldn't understand what it's like to have the thing you love most in the world die slowly before your eyes, screaming. Nope, I would have no idea." She growls softly. "And I know mom should've killed her before, but I can't let that get to me. She is all I really have and I need her now more than ever. Don't you understand? She is the only person who has ever truly loved me for me and not expected anything from me." She glaces toward the kitchen. "I know where the healing potions are, they won't work. I have tried everything."
<GRY> Firstyeargirl MarriahC smirks and slowly stands up "We left. We left because it was too dangerous for us to be here! We had been kidnapped I dont know how many times!" she shudders slightly "I know it takes two. Im not STUPID!" she shrieks, the sound echoing off the walls as she grips the side of her head, screeching "No! NO! DONT DO IT!"she yells over and over, falling to the floor "Im sorry! I didnt mean to sneak out! Apollo, NO!"her cries fade to a whisper as she whimpers, curled up on the floor "Im in trouble. Deep trouble, for leaving Olympus." she cries, shakingbefore she melts away, whispering "I dont know when I will be back... Im sorry"
<SLY> Fifthyeargirl ArainaBlack watches, wide eyed at her sister disappearence. After she's gone, she rolls her eyes. "Her own damn fault for leaving." She speaks harshly, demon half still filling her. She stomps to the still open door, forgetting Irma and growling as she wanders back into Ottery.
<SLY> Firstyeargirl Irma cracks the door open slightly. It creaks, and she listens closely to find out if it was now safe.
