<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden yawns as she opens her eyes, rolling over to check the other side of the bed and letting out a huge sad sigh. Empty. Jem sits up, wondering why she is surprised anymore. Crawling out of bed Jem heads to the bathroom to look in the mirror. She had bags under her bright red eyes from lack of sleep and drinking so much blood. She had to have so much blood, the baby needed it. Sighing Jem wanders back through the bedroom and down the stairs in silence, noting the lack of noise in the huge castle. Why was she still here? There was no one ever about anymore. Corbin had kept himself to himself for so long, Jem hardly recognised him on the few occasions she had caught a glimpse of him fetching drinks or food from the kitchen before he headed back to his office. Jem stops at the foot of the stairs, listening to the nothing ness and sighs as she continues her way to the kitchen to make herself a drink and drain a few bloodbags to keep the baby happy. She picks her cup up and turns round and wanders to the front room to grab the blanket before he makes her way to Crevens office, slowly and silently as she sips her drink. Opening the door, Jem stops and gasps as it squeaks, hoping it wasnt loud enough to wake Corbin o Lea up. Jem slips inside and lets her eyes adjust before she walks over to her husbands desk, sitting herself down on the chair and finishing her drink before she curls up on the chair, pulling her legs underneath her and covering herself with the blanket and resting her head on the arm closing her eyes and falling asleep. If this was the closest she could be to him, she would have to settle for it, even if it was going to probably get her in trouble when, if, he came home. Jem yawns and drifts off to sleep, her hands wrapping themselves around her stomach as she snores slightly.
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley walks in slamming the door behind her "Thats not good enough Lucas!" she yells as he walks down the hall before turning around to face her "Lea theres nothing I can do! If there was I would have already done it!" he yells back before walking back over to her tipping her chin up to face him "I know, I'm sorry....its just..." she sighs stopping and Lucas nods "Its difficult" he finishes for her before wrapping his arms around her, holding her close.
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden jumps as she jolts awake at the slamming of the front door, hearing raised voices. She runs to the office door and walks towards them, rubbing her eyes "What the hell is going on?" she grumbles, frowning slightly "Some people need their sleep here." she rubs her stomach, the bump increased in size slightly seemingly overnight.
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley glances up at Jem and sighs "Oh, its nothing...go back to bed Jem." she replies looking back down and leading Lucas into the front living room.
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden raises her eyebrows and watches as Lea leads Lucas into the front room before walking to lean against the doorway "Didnt sound like nothing to me" she snaps.
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley Lucas) - walks over to Jem "Well perhaps its got nothing to do with you....you don't need to use that tone with us." he says back, softly, his voice calm before walking over to Lea and sitting down next to her.
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden growls slightly "Well, I do apologise, but in my state i need sleep, not to be rudely woken up by you two yelling at each other, slamming doors." she wraps her arms around herself "What if the kids had been home?" she looks down, teary eyes "Not that they are." she looks over at Lea "They arent coming home. Coran, Marriah, Xander or Zethina. They are staying up there."
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley nods looking blankly ahead, just staring into space "Lucas...I can't deal with this." she whispers before leaning against him, seemly ignoring Jem.
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden wipes her eyes and heads out to the kitchen, her arms still wrapped around herself, not knowing what was happening or if she were coming or going "Maybe I should just go. For good." she mutters under her breath as she sits down at the table "He obviously doesnt want this anymore. He didnt even want it to start with." she whimpers, laying her head on her arms.
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley (Lucas) - wraps an arm around Lea before glancing over at Jem "Sometimes the best things which happened weren't ever planned...."
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden sobs silently in the kitchen, twisting the band on her finger.
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley shakes her head before looking up at Lucas "How am I going to tell them...both of them..." she asks quietly as he shrugs "I don't know, Creven will find out on his own...but Jem we should tell."
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden sighs as she wipes her cheeks and heads over to the fridge for yet more blood. She sinks to the floor draining two bags one after the other, not listening to the conversation in the other room.
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley nods and sighs again "Lucas, I can't deal with these emotions, always feeling down....I can't stand it anymore..." Lea continues as Lucas tightens his arms around her "I know, losing two of the people closest too you can't be easy, but you'll get through this, we will together."
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden lays the empty bags on the floor and lifts her head up slowly, her eyes glazed over, seeming to be on a different planet, not quite with it. She had been like this for a few weeks now.
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley nods again, tears sliding down her cheeks "Creven is going to flip....more so than ever before..." Lea mumbles quietly as Lucas kisses the top of her head "I can't express how sorry I am Lea. Corbin was one of the greatest men I knew."
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden slowly turns her head to the doorway and stands up slowly, not that that was hard. Slowly was all she could do right now. Jem walks into the hallway after hearing Lucas's words, a low sound escaping her lips "No. I didnt hear that."she half whispers as she goes to grab the table and misses it, crashing to the floor.
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley (Lucas) - glances over his shoulder towards the door before leaning his head on Lea's "Its going to be alright, we'll find out what really happened Lea..."
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden takes a few deep breaths, closing her eyes as her hands fly to her stomach "Im fine! Dont come running all at once you know. Its not like i fell over and im pregnant or anything." she yells through to the front room as she half crawls across the hallway to sit on the stairs to try and regulate her breathing, trying not to get stresed.
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley (Lucas) - takes a deep breath before standing up leaving Lea on the sofa hugging a cushion staring out infront of her up at the family crest over the fire place. Lucas walks out into the hallway fixing his eyes on Jem "What the hell is it with you and always needed to draw attention to yourself?" he yells, his voice uneven, not his normal style "All you've been doing is moping around, grow up Jem! Maybe Creven will never come back? The odds are that he will! Just get used to this and carry on with life, making the best of it while you still can!" he finishes his breathing elevated, eyes a darker shade of green than normal.
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden scoffs slightly "You dont scare me Lucas." she sneers at him "Yeah maybe I have moped about a lot lately. What the hell else can I do?" she yells "Im aware he might never come back. Im also aware, even if you arent, that I have lost my kids! They think I drove Creven away! They blame ME!" she screams at him as she pulls herself up "As for carrying on and making the best of it, I have ETERNITY to make the best of it! How the HELL can I make it without him." she runs her hand through her hair slowly "You have no idea Lucas. Its your fault." she growls
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley (Lucas) - laughs "Scare you? Oh you'd know if I wanted to scare you Jem...you'd never want to be alone in the dark again." he sneers folding his arms "My fault? Everything is always my fault with you isn't it?" he shakes his head looking down at her "Your father in law is dead Jem...now that I can personally promise, isnt my fault in anyway!"
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden scowls at Lucas as he speaks "Yes, I heard that. You dont seem to keep your voices down a lot when you are talking do you." she sighs "Not everything is your fault, but you knew what the the crystal would do to Creven didnt you? You knew he would turn like this, yet, as usual, Im the last to know these things. Maybe." she adds, raising her voice slightly so Lea could hear Maybe some people should keep their voices down when discussing things in the garden late at night with their brother."she chews her lip "He doesnt even know." she mutters "Im sorry about Corbin. He was like a father to me too."
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley (Lucas) - shakes his head "Well maybe thats because you've taken the habit of listening into every conversation anyone in this house ever haves." Lucas replies before rolling his eyes "Fine next time Lea and I will both stand by and watch him die...and of course he doesn't know, Corbin was murdered sometime this morning...my people are trying to work out what happened."
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden snaps her head up "I didnt mean about that." she hisses angrily "I meant about me... being pregnant." she shakes her head "I dont listen in on purpose, Lucas. I have good hearing."
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley (Lucas) - blinks "What the hell did you just say?" he asks quickly ignoring everything else she had replied too.
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden scoffs slightly and moves her hands from her stomach "Yeah. Im pregnant." she sighs sitting back down on the stairs "After what happened with the ley lines, before he went all crazy, we went away for a few days." she stares at her feet "I found out the other day and I havent seen him to tell him and I dont know what to do."
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley (Lucas) - nods rubbing his forehead "And I thought my family had issues...." he whispers before looking back at Jem "Well I don't know what to say about that..."
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden shakes her head "Issues? Trust me, you have no idea." she sighs again "I dont know what to say or do about it Lucas." she glances at the door briefly before lowering her eyes again.
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley (Lucas) - shrugs before glancing over his shoulder at the living room "Go to bed, get some rest and make sure you eat well....I really need to get back to Lea."
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden shakes her head again before leaning it against the wall "I cant go to bed, I cant sleep. I cant do anything. No, in fact i refuse to do anything. Im staying here." she states, stubbornly.
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley (Lucas) - nods and shrugs "So be it." he replies before turning away and walking back into the living room.
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden shrugs as Lucas walks back into the room"So be it." she mutters, almost mockingly before returning her gaze to the front door, not moving.
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley nearly bumps into Lucas as she walks out of the door. Quickly Lea takes his hand and guides him over to the stairs "I've just remembered something he told me last night before going to bed." she explains quickly frowning at Jem on her way past before starting to head up the stairs.
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden glances at Lea "Im sorry about..." she starts, unable to finish as she distracts herself, wrapping her hair around her finger as she stands up "Im going out. To hunt."
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley nods pausing slightly before turning quickly and heading up the stairs leading Lucas, heading towards her father's study.
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden huffs as she storms out the door, slamming it shut behind her and stopping on the doorstep. Maybe it would be for the best if she went to find someone who could help her. She was just in the way here. She knew it. Glancing round the garden her eyes land on the fountain and she moves towards it, picking up Crevens scent very slightly. Tears fall down her cheeks as she runs her hands over the fountain before she sits down on the grass, the only light coming from one of the kitchen windows where she had forgot to turn the light out. For the moment she was grateful as she pulled out a piece of parchment and a quill from her pocket and sat thinking of how to word the fact she was going, not leaving for good at least not for now. Just going away. Dear Creven she starts, pausing as a pain flies through her stomach for a brief second "Im sorry sweetheart" she whispers, rubbing her stomach "I have to do it. No one wants me around here. Not right now. I have to do this. For us." she sighs before returning to write This is so hard to write and Im not even sure if you will get it as I dont know where you are." she stops wondering if she should add the bit she wanted to. She shrugs, maybe it would be added later I cant stand it, here without you, all on my own, or so it seems. Our children dont want to home from Olympus. They have told me Im a terrible mother, its my fault that you have turned out like this. she stops writing and wipes her eyes quickly, glancing up at the house I cant stay here. Rain is asking where you are and I dont know what to tell her. I told Lea I have gone for a hunt. Even in the condition I am in, maybe someone should have stopped me I know you would have if you were here. she stops and bursts into tears I may be away for a while but please come home. I love you. Your Sweet Jem she signs it, hoping she still was. Jem folds the letter up as she stands and wanders quietly back into the house and slips up the stairs into Crevens office and lays the letter on his desk, writing his name on the front in her elegant handwriting before running from the room, forgetting to shut the door as she runs down the stairs and put the front door, crashing into someone stood in the driveway. Before she can scream, a hand forces its way over her mouth and someone drags her to the end of the drive and climbs into the back of a van with her. Seconds later the van speeds off, Jem screaming "Please dont hurt me! Im pregnant" unheard through the van walls "Ha well, this will be interesting." a sneer returns in the darkness.
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley (Lucas) - gently runs a hand through Lea's red hair watching her sleep before sighing and softly kissing her forehead. Lucas slips out of the bed covers and heads into the bathroom where he splashes some cold water onto his face, helping him to wake up a little more. He had slept that night but mainly his dreams were haunting ones, mainly themed on death and murder. The more he thought about Corbin's murder the less it made sense. He had been found by his PA at the Shadows HQ in the morning, as usual she had been bringing him his usual cup of tea before their first meeting. Only to find him dead, bleed to death after multiple stab wounds. Lucas sighs again, it was virtually impossible to get into the Shadows without being a member and from what he understood, everyone seemed to like Corbin, to the highest level of respects, many had even called him their best leader in history, leaving no obvious motive, unless it was an act of revenge against some of the Shadows work, but then again everything Corbin had done had been good. Lucas looks up at his reflection in the mirror, perhaps there was something that Corbin had found out some important information which someone else wanted to keep quiet. So far that seemed the most likely and he had made a promise to Lea to work out what happened, which was exactly what he was intending to do. Lucas had a specialist team, used to being the ones doing the murdering, what better than to have a team of people like that to work out how one had happened.
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden glances up at the man with his arms around her and stares wide eyed "Who are you and what the hell do you want?"she snarls at him. He laughs in reply "All will be revealed, little lady, soon enough. Now shut op, or do I have to make you. I dont want to be dealing with a stinking vampire right now." he tightens his grip around her and barks out direction to the driver. Jem tries to wriggle free, getting nowhere. She hadnt fed enough to give her the strength to get herself out of this. She sits back, letting herself take in roughtly where they were. She had worked out they had been travelling for twenty mintues, roughly, in a westerly direction, away from the town "Who wants me so bad?" she questions the man who shrugs "Not for me to tell you." he snaps at her. Jem sighs and shuts up, closing her eyes fearing for her unborn babys life more than her own right now. The van breaks suddenly and the engine cuts out, followed by the door slamming. Jem is dragged by the man to the back of the van and thrown out, to be caught by the other person, a stockier built man "Hello there Jem." a voice whispers in her ear as she is dragged towards a large derelict building and shoved through the front door and led to the basement. "This i your new home. For the time being. Well until your new friend decides its time to let you go." he laughs and slams the door shut, leaving her in darkness "Oh and don’t try any magic. Like your home and Calanon Castle, you cant use it." he laughs and Jems face drops. She knew to know about the magical protection on her house and Calanon Castle, someone had to have been inside. But who. Jem sinks to the floor, racking her brains for an answer. The stockily built man heads back up to the main part of the building and through a door, walking in on a young girl feeding from a willing younger girl. She snaps her head up "I take it the deed is done, Craig?" she asks, her eyes gleaming as she wipes her mouth with the back of her hand. Craig nods "Everything is all taken care of Rebecca." he bows slightly as she dismisses him with a wave of her hand. Craig disappears and Rebecca smirks as she throws the girls almost dead body at the wall and takes a seat, picking her teeth with her nails "Well wont this be fun." she laughs to herself.
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley - (Lucas) - dries his face before quickly changing and slipping downstairs, leaving Lea asleep, no point in waking her yet. Lucas jumps slightly as a house elf appears, still not used to them, before following it into the kitchen, where a quick breakfast had been laid out. Lucas glances at the elf quizzically, over the last day they had been paying him much more attention than usual, he guessed it had something to do with Corbin's death as their voices weren’t quite as cheerful and high as normal. "Thank you." he says and smiles politely before the elf nods slightly and disappears. Lucas drains a cup of tea and grabs an apple before heading towards the front door, not feeling much like eating, he had too many other things on his mind. Making sure to lock the door behind him he makes his way down the drive towards his car, it wasn't that far to drive to the Shadows HQ.
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden pounds on the door, hearing silence on the other side of it "I know you are out there! Let me out!" she screams as she finally hears footsteps "Mom?" a hushed voices whispers through the door and Jem stops pounding "Coran?" she whispers back, leaving her hand on the door "What the hell are you doing here?" she leans her head on the door "I could ask you the same thing" he growls, not quite himself. "I haven’t a bloody clue why Im here or what the hells happening. Coran, help me get out of here." she begs him "Please. I need to go home." she adds not seeing him shake his head "I cant, mother." he sneers through the door "I cant do anything without Rebecca telling me Im allowed" Jem punches the door hard "Coran! You let me out of here right now" she screams at him. Coran just laughs and walks away, his eyes bright red and a slight skip in his step. He wanders back over to Rebecca "Well shes in a very bad mood." he laughs and Rebecca smiles, kissing his cheek "Well thank you for that." she purrs at him "I may have to go and see her myself soon." Jem sits on the floor, in silence. Coran? What was he doing here? She lowly lifts her head up. He mentioned Rebecca? Surely not the same one. It cant be? Can it. She runs her hands through her hair. She would have to wait patiently to be let out to set the small plan into action. She growls loudly.
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley (Lucas) - parks neatly infront of the Shadows HQ before stepping out, frowning slightly at the rain after not bringing a coat. Lucas grabs something out of the glove box down the drivers side door before closing it. As he walks away the cars lights flash twice with a bleep signalling its locking system, Lucas smiles to himself counting his steps knowing exactly when it would lock before heading towards the front door of a large office block. Trust Corbin to lead an undercover group out of the most ordinary looking building. Although he had always been more efficient rather than adding a little style to his and his people's work, unlike Lucas, it was something he encouraged. On reaching the door he stops and knocks twice.
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden watches the door as she faintly hears two sets of footsteps. Rubbing her stomach she whispers "Im going to get us out of here." she sighs as the door opens. The burly looking man who had brought her in, smirks at her from the doorway "This way, please."he sneers. Jem stands up, holding her head up high and follows him out "So, Rebecca huh." she tries not to laugh as he grabs her arm to stop her making a run for it and he shrugs in reply. They walk into the main room and Jem locks her eyes on her son, smiling slightly before she fully takes in the scene in front of her. Coran, her son, stood next to Rebecca. Jem gasps slightly "Get your hands off him, you psycho." she screams, her voice bouncing off the walls. Rebecca shakes her head with a smirk on her face "Nope, not a chance. Hes a good little pet." she grins "Does as he is told." she stands up, stretching dramatically "I like how he isnt fully vampire, yet. Makes it wasier for me to compell him."she laughs as Jems face falls "What have you done to him?" she whispers, glancing at Coran who was stood staring into space, a blank look on his face "Nothing much. Just asked him to do a few things for us. Taking out a few little people. I had to, of course, test his loyalty before I accepted him fully." she half skips over to Jem whispering in her ear "And i needed someone to be able to get into the Shadows HQ and do a small favour for me to get your husbands attention, whisch didnt work. But I got yours apparently she laughs as Jem swings her free arm out, just missing Rebeccas face "Oh dea, Jem. That wasnt a good idea" she clicks her fingers and Coran run over "Keep your hands on her" Coran nods, grabbing his mother, gripping her arms behind her back "Dont move. Got it." he growls. "Coran, please dont do this." she begs him.
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley (Lucas) - smiles slightly watching the door open and steps in closing it behind him. All of the HQ doors were electronically controlled, his whole arrival would have been monitored remotely, Lucas heads down the first corridor, heading for the stairs and Corbin's office, currently the place was near enough deserted. The Shadows taking time off to work out who would be their new leader and to grieve for the loss of Corbin, meaning Lucas could move around without being disturbed. Lucas heads into Corbin's office and nods his greeting at one of his own men. "Anything new to report Mark?" he asks walking over to Corbin's desk and surveying the room. The man shakes his head "Nothing yet Sir...but I'm sure something will come up."
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden jumps as Rebecca laughs, shaking her head "Not going to happen. Not yet at least, Jem." she smirks. Jem wriggles in Coran’s grip "You're stronger than I remember son." she grumbles as she starts to shake slightly. There was only one way she would be able to get in control of this situation. One that would be safer for her and her baby. She fully shifts to her wolf form and Coran drops his arms in surprise. Jem bounds over to Rebecca in one huge bound, pouncing on her and pinning her to the floor, her paws on her chest. Rebecca just laughs as she lands on the floor and reaches up to grab Jems throat. Jem snaps at her hand and rips it away from the rest of her body, a smirk on her face <Coran. Snap the hell out of it and get out of here> she growls, snapping at Rebecca’s face. Hearing footsteps, Jem glances over her shoulder to see half a dozen men running at her, shock on their faces. They obviously didn’t know Jem could shift. she takes them out in minutes, something she knew Creven would be proud and impressed at. Although she knew he wouldn’t let her in her state. Glancing round she sees Coran still stood there having not moved from the spot her was in. Returning her attention to Rebecca, who had stood back up in the commotion, Jem shifts back to her human form and blows her hair from her face and rests her hands on her hips "You want to do this Rebecca? Hmm?" she asks. "Bring it on. I will eat you alive." she snarls.
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley (Lucas) - nods before walking around the room again "No murder weapon found...no traces of forced entry...or even a struggle, do you know what that means?" Lucas asks Mark glancing back over his shoulder towards one of his best forensics cover-up guys. Mark nods continuing to dust the desk for prints "Yes, Corbin knew whoever killed him...and well, he wasn't expecting the attack and was probably so shocked about it happening that he didn't react quick enough to try to stop it in any way....like our typical infiltration murders," Mark looks up at Lucas and shrugs "We're got statements from everyone who was here and have a team running through the security tapes." he finishes before concentrating on his work again "Good...Oh Mark there’s a Seth listening device hidden in this room somewhere..." Lucas begins to explain as Mark looks back up at him "One of ours? How and Why?" He asks quizzically as Lucas paces the room from the door to where Corbin had been found. "Because its always good to keep an ear open and listen to even the smallest whispers Marks." Lucas explains and Mark nods before laughing. Lucas shoots him a warning looking before the man explains "Sorry Sir, I'm just used to covering up murders, rather than solving them."
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden keeps her eyes on Rebecca a low growl in her throat. Rebecca grins, slightly smug "Oh, Jem. You really do amuse me you know. I have been told about how you like to proove yourself." she smirks, walking round Jem and dismissing Coran with a wave of her hand. Coran disappears in a cloud of smoke with a loud pop "Where has he gone?" Jem barks at Rebecca "Out the way." the reply comes bac. Jem spins round and grabs her by the throat, squeezing tightly "Im glad he has left us alone. Now I don’t have to go lightly on you." Jem grabs Rebecca’s arm and pushes her fingers into the bloody stump "How does that feel." she laughs as Rebecca lets out a scream of pain. Jem smirks, tightening her grip on Rebecca’s neck almost to the point of snapping "That’s for making my son do your dirty work." she hisses "I have a feeling I know what he did. You made him kill his grandfather didnt you?" Jem looks deep into Rebecca’s eyes as she nods slightly "Yes I did" she whispered, the only sound she could make. Jem lets out a growl "A pregnant mother who has lost most of her family is someone you don’t want to piss off." as the words pass her lips, Jem tightens her grip more and chuckles at the sound of Rebecca’s neck snapping before dropping her to the floor.
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley (Lucas) - nods glancing at Mark "So what can you actually tell me about all of this?" he asks folding his arms as Mark walks around to stand next to him "Corbin was at his desk reading through some reports. Then from my best guess someone knocked at the door," Mark starts and Lucas nods "Yes, he opened the door and came face to face with his killer...did they come into the room or not?" he asks glancing at the floor. “No Sir, that is one thing we discovered last night...every evening Corbin had this room hoovered...the only footprints found were that of Corbin himself and his PA, and only one set from his PA, so she only entered the room once....he must have been stabbed at the door, stumbled backwards, turned around to lean on his desk, then collapsed on the floor.” Mark explains with a small demonstration "And before you ask sir, there’s a set of Corbin's finger prints right in the centre of the edge of the desk...one arm wrapped around the wounds, agreeing with the blood found on his left arm and hand, the other used to try to support himself," Mark finishes before looking down at the desk, grabbing magnifying glass "Oh I didn't see this earlier...Lucas, there’s a small scratch here, its rough, been made recently, most likely by a man in pain unable to reach anything to trying to leave a message in the varnish on the desk..." He says passing the glass over to Lucas to let him see. Lucas looks down and blinks a couple of times "C, its the letter C...a killers name perhaps he suggests before being interrupted by a knock at the door "Lucas Sir, we found the blade used, its completely clean, apart from Corbin's blood, which has been identified" A young woman explains holding a dagger in her hand. Lucas tilts his head to the side and walks across to her "I know this blade...it was in Corbin's office in Calanon Castle, displayed on the bookshelf.” Lucas begins to explain before shaking his head"Where was it found Sally?" he asks getting back to the point "Outside the back, in an ordinary bin." she replies looking from Lucas to Mark "Odd," Mark starts again "A perfect murder scene, then a shoddy way to get rid of the weapon..." he states looking back down at the desk "Clearly our killer did what he or she had to do, then panicked...Mark I really need that listening device found." Lucas says quickly before walking out of the room talking more with Sally.
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden glances round the now silent room and starts walking to the bodies of the men she had taken down, dragging them to the basement to hide. She wanders back up to the main room and picks up Rebeccas body, taking a deep breath as she did. Big mistake she thought as her eyes turned bright red and her fangs sunk into her neck, drinking slowly to savour the liquid hitting the back of her throat. The baby kicked her and Jem drops the drained body and sinks to the floor, screaming "No! Not now. Its to soon!" she screams for someone to help her as she tries to crawl to the door. Jem takes a few deep breaths and lays in the floor as the pain disappears, her eyes closed and her arms wrapped around her stomach. She knew what she needed to do, somehow, and she diapparates out of the building and lands in a heap behind a car, having picked up a scent halfway home. She pulls herself up, glancing round and her eyes land on a building. She knew she couldnt make it home by herself. Doubling over in pain she makes her way to the door, knocking on it loudly, not quite sure where she was.
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley (Lucas) - nods listening to Sally "So Mark is right then?" he asks as Mark himself appears through the door "I always am Sir, and one Seth standard listening device hidden on the underside of the desk in the top draw." he explains smiling to himself. Lucas rolls his eyes "A little to cocky there Mark, but I'll let it slide, and thank you...Sally will you get this down to the tech guys here, get them to pull off everything which was recorded between six and eight this morning, that fits in with the time of death." Lucas explains handing it across to her and watching her turn away and walk down the corridor. Mark sighs leaning against the door frame "She really has a remarkable figure." he mutters glancing at Lucas who again rolls his eyes ”Well I have nothing against inter-Seth relationships, in fact I would encourage them you won't be able to have a relationship outside of this job." Lucas replies and they both laugh before looking at each other again "Sir, that letter....would Creven have any reason to kill his father?" he asks delicately watching Lucas. "Not as far as I know, they always seemed to get on. Creven often speaks about his father as inspiration, a few days ago he told me he wanted to spend more time with him...and this isn't Creven's normal killing style, but unfortunately we can't discount him yet...Mark why ask? You know Creven as well as I do..." Lucas replies before turning around to fully face him. Mark shrugs "He's not been himself lately, rang me a few days asking if I wanted to go to Dubai with him...and not for work, which isn't very Creven and...who else would have had access to Corbin's knife, I've seen the schematics for Calanon Castle unless your a member of family or a guest its impossible to get in...you should know that Lucas, which means..." Mark stops not wanting to say it "Which means it was a member of his family." Lucas finishes and nods "As improbable as it may sound..." he sighs and walks back into the office, glancing around before letting his eyes rest back on the desk "Wait, Mark, we are missing something here..."Lucas states quickly turning back around watching Mark with raised eyebrows in the doorway "What Sir? I've been over everything..." he explains folding his arms. Lucas nods "I know, but its what’s not here anymore which is important...stay where you are." he explains and walks towards him standing in front of him "Corbin would have been stood approximately here when he was stabbed, yes?" Lucas asks as Mark nods "So, say you were the killer and I was Corbin, where would you stab me?" he asks as Mark raises his eyebrows again before raising his arm "Probably here." he says and motions to just under Lucas's rib cage, the easiest height for his arm to reach "Why Sir?" he asks again using a quizzical tone. Lucas smiles slightly "Corbin was stabbed much lower down...suggesting someone smaller...a young teen perhaps." Lucas suggests piecing things together. "Oh very good Sir, perhaps we should forget the killing and become a forensics team." Mark starts before frowning "You're suggesting Coran? but Lucas, his grandson? Where’s the motive?" Mark asks and Lucas frowns "I know Mark, but its the best we have so far...contact the family and find him." he says watching Mark walk away quickly. Lucas looks down as his phone bleeps in his pocket and quickly pulls it out before heading towards the main camera room, something or someone of interest by the front door.
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden cries out at her hands start to hurt at the pounding on the door. She didnt notice she was covered in blood from the fight with Rebecca. "Hello? Please! Someone help me." she cries out before she bites down hard on her lip through a contraction "Its too early. Its too soon." she sobs, tears rolling down her cheek. She knew this couldn’t be good. Pounding on the door one time, weakly, Jem leans her head against it, barely able to move "Please, Lucas. I know you are about somewhere." she whispers. There must have been something in Rebecca’s blood and now she was scared for her unborn baby. She wraps her arms round her stomach and rolls over onto her side, the tears stinging her cheek as she has another contraction "Lucas" she whispers "It was Coran. He was compelled." she mutters, out of energy.
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley (Lucas) - frowns watching the camera screen and Jem "Get a defence team to Calanon Castle now." he yells over at his nearest operative who looks slightly confused "Lea is there on her own her father has been killed and her sister-in-law is currently covered in blood right at this door...this is all family related...I want her safe now." he explains watching as the man picks up the nearest phone to make the call. "John have we got anyone from medical here?" he asks quickly before starting to walk out of the room "If so get them to that door now!" he yells over his shoulder watching his team spring into action making calls, monitoring other cameras and checking playbacks. Lucas runs to the front door joined by Sally on his way "John sent me your message with a few details." she explains before walking out and running over to Jem. Lucas joins Sally at Jem's side taking one of Jem's hands.
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden opens her eyes slightly, looking up at Lucas "Im sorry for being an attention seeker." she whispers "I was trying to go home. I couldnt make it." she moves her hands "I think the baby is on its way. Its to early, Lucas." she holds her breath through another contraction "Coran. It was Coran." she sobs as she grabs Lucas's arm, ignoring the other woman "He didnt know what he was doing, Lucas. He was compelled." she keeps her eyes on him "Please." she begs him, reaching up to press her hand against his cheek "Let me show you what happened."
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley (Lucas) - brushes Jem's hand away "I know exactly what happened, my team have got the proof of it happening." he sighs looking up at Sally who was shaking her head "Sir, I'm not trained for this, we need to ring an ambulance." she says quickly looking directly at Lucas who nods "Magical though Sally, make sure its not muggle, we don't need any more complications." he explains before looking back down at Jem "Just relax Jem."
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden gasps, staring at her hand as Lucas brushes it away "No Lucas. you dont understand. She was trying to get Creven by getting Coran to... do that." she whimpers as she mention her missing husbands name "NO! No ambulance. Nothing like that. Why wont you listen to me?" she wipes her mouth with the back of her hand and sighs "I look a bloody state aswell." she complains as she fights another contraction "There isnt time."
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley (Lucas) - shakes his head "Right now, your health is the most important thing." he explains watching as Sally sends a message out to St Mungo's "Just calm down Jem, I have a team of people looking for Coran."
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden shakes her head "You wont find him." she gasps "She sent him away somewhere." she grabs Lucas's arm "Please, Lucas. Promise me your men wont hurt him. Hes still my son." she runs her hand over her bump as movement starts and the light show starts again "Whatever happens, let him explain himself first. He didnt know what he was doing." she tries to explain again.
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley (Lucas) - nods "They won't Jem." Lucas states, as long as he doesnt resist them, he thinks to himself before blinking at the light "What the hell was that?" Sally asks in surprise as Lucas shakes his head "Jem, whats going on with you?"
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden growls slightly at Lucas's thought "He wont resist if they dont surprise him." she states and shrugs slightly "I dont know, Lucas. It keeps doing it." she lifts up her top, revealing marks on her stomach "That happens too." she winces "Every time my stomach glows. They are getting bolder every time too." she sighs and inches away from them both "Am I still being an attention seeker now?" she snaps.
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley (Lucas) - grabs Jem's arm "Lets not go into that now, it is neither the time or the place." he states bluntly before making eye contact with her "Should I have any reason to believe that anyother member of the Calanon family is currently under threat?" he asks quickly tilting his head to the side as he looks down at the symbols.
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden tries to shake Lucas's arm off her and shakes her head "Not the time." she repeats as she keeps the eye contact "I dont think so. Rebecca is dead. I killed her." she mutters as she looks down at her stomach, fighting another contraction "What are they?" she asks, fighting the urge to push "Its almost time." she grips Lucas tight "He’s going to kill me." she whispers to herself, tears stinging her cheeks again.
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley (Lucas) - nods looking back up at Jem "I don't know, its nothing Negation Egyptian I can tell you that much." he sighs before glancing around the car park "He probably will," Lucas starts off as a joke before his face turns serious "unless your son does first” he stops and stands up passing Jem's hand into Sally's.
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden sobs "Lucas, dont even joke about it." she half yells as she grips Sallys hand "Nice way to meet new people, Lucas. Wait til someones in labour." Jem jokes, shaking her head "I dont know what it is either. I cant read it." Jem blinks as the lights fade, along with the symbols.
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley (Sally) - smiles softly down at Jem "My name is Sally." she says gently before looking up at Lucas "Sir?" she calls across to him"Lucas? what is it?" she tries again this time using his name. Lucas shrugs and turns back around"I'm not sure, something doesn't feel right...Jem do you think you can stand? we should get inside."
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden glances up at Sally and half smiles "Jem Calanon." she mutters as she watches Lucas "In there? Where are we anyway?" she asks, trying to stand up "I dont even know how I got here." she glances round and shudders before taking a few more deep breaths "I think I can get up, with some help."
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley (Lucas) - nods and walks back over to Jem and Sally, both helping her to stand and walking inside the building "Welcome Jem to the Shadows Headquarters..." Lucas states making sure to close the door behind them "I have no idea how you got here either..."
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden leans her weight on Sally and Lucas as they walk through the door "I was trying to get home and suddenly I was behind a car." she shakes her head "I think someone knew I wouldnt make it home fully." she smiles slightly down at her stomach as her knees buckle "Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow!" she cries out "I cant go on any more. Babys coming." she screams.
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley (Lucas) - nods frowning slightly still managing to take Jem's weight "Why do the Calanon's always have such remarkable timing." he mutters taking her weight off Sally and carrying Jem into the nearest room, where he places her down on a leather sofa "Just keep calm." he says softly pulling his phone out of his pocket calling someone.
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden rolls her eyes at Lucas as she takes a few deep breaths "Yeah, cos I asked for this right now" she mutters as she raises her eyebrows at the sofa "Leather, Sally. Is he for real?" she laughs slightly "Calm, me. Oh Lucas. you have no idea how calm I am right now." she yells to him, sarcastically as she tries not to push.
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley (Sally) shrugs brushing Jem's hair out of her face "Theres not really much choice...unless you'd prefer the floor." she smiles again reassuringly. Lucas rolls his eyes "Well at least you've been through this before..."
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden nods at Sally "The floor might be better, but at least leather is easy to clean" she jokes before turning to face Lucas, and letting out a scream as something pulls on her stomach. She covers her face with her hands, breathing deeply "Yeah I have done this a few time. Just not this intense." she tries not to scream through the contraction hitting her hard.
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley (Lucas) - nods again before looking at his phone and disappearing out of the room. Sally raises her eyebrows and looks down at Jem "I've never seen him...so out of control before...its quite refreshing, shows hes at least a little human."she comments with a slight sigh before glancing over her shoulder as Lucas returns with Lea behind him, leading her by her hand.
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden nods at Sally "Yeah, human." she mutters "I can just remember what thats like." she adds before glancing over Sallys shoulder and cursing loudly "Come to see the show, Lea?" she says sarcastically "Maybe I should sell tickets." she adds, making the same joke she had done when she was having Marriah. She shakes her head, muttering an apology at her sister in law "Theres just one person..."she starts before she closes her eyes tightly and pushes.
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley shakes her head "Well interesting choice of location Jem....one member of the family dies here while another is born here." she mutters before letting go of Lucas's hand and walking quickly over to Jem's side "I don't know where he is...Jem, as far as we know Creven doesnt even know about...our father yet." Lea continues, her voice quieter than normal before shaking her head "Just remember to breath normally and push when you need too.” <SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden nods at Lea "Well you know me, dear sister in law. I like to pick different locations to give birth." she grumbles slightly, keeping her hands over her face, listening to Lea "Theres so much he doesnt know, Lea." she lowers her hands to look at her sister in law "Lea, he doesnt even know im pregnant." she sighs, nodding again, eager to get off the topic of Creven right now "Breathe and push" she repeats to herself, over and over.
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley blinks and nods placing a hand on Jem's stomach, using her power to mask some of the pain "I know Jem...." Lucas paces around the room feeling slightly out of place before walking across to Jem, Lea and Sally "Can I get anything? water or something?" he asks Lea quickly who nods "Water is a good idea Lucas...and a towel or something like that." She replies before watching him basically run out of the room, Sally laughs slightly "So this is Lucas in situations where he doesnt know what to do....very interesting."
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden smiles up at Lea slightly, relaxing as the pain eases "Thank you." she murmurs, closing her eyes again "I’m sorry about your father." she whispers "He was like a father to me too" she sighs, trying to distract herself from labour "He gave me away at my wedding, remember. Only a father does that." she looks at sally and grins slightly "I'd love to see him when I mean if." she grins "He has kids." she winks at Lea, taking a deep breath and pushing.
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley nods "I know Jem...I just want to know what happened." he explains before rolling her eyes looking at Jem turning a slightly redder shade "Well...perhaps." she replies again glancing at Sally who laughs "Oh come on Lea, your the only women I've seen him with...and I've known him for years."
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden shakes her head "I cant Lea, not right now. Please." she mutters, tears rolling down her cheeks again as she turns her head away "I need to push. Its almost time." she cries out ”Please be almost time." she whimpers gripping Lea and Sallys arm "Where the hell is he?!" she screams at them both.
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley nods frowning slightly "Then push Jem and I don't know!" she yells back not having a clue. Lucas finds a few towels and the water asked for but hangs around outside the room checking his phone again "Come on Creven...look at you damned phone." he whispers to himself before pocketing his phone walking back into the room placing them next to Lea and looking up at Sally "Of course!" he says quickly motioning towards her "Sir?" Sally asks slightly perplexed. "Creven was tagged with an electronic identity chip, Seth standard, but you never removed or disabled it..." he explains before running out of the room again. Sally blinks watching him "Lea, is he always like this away from work?" she asks glancing over at her "Nope, never seen him like this before..." she replies looking back down at Jem.
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden glances at Lea, muttering under her breath as she watches Lucas through narrowed eyes "He obviously doesn’t want to be found." she rolls over on the sofa, her back to Lea "This whole thing was a bad idea." she sniffles, pushing hard, covering her head with her arms as she does "One more. Please just one more." she sobs.
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley nods ignoring Jem's comments "Nearly there Jem just keep this up.." she replies. Sally watches Lucas leave before returning her attention back to Jem "It was a new thing we have started to try, I barely involved Lucas with the idea, Creven and a couple of others were a test for the system which is supposed to go fully live next week." she comments sticking up for her boss.
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden turns her head to Sally, her eyes bright red and gleaming "That wasnt what I meant. What happens in these and Seth walls aren’t anything to do with me." she cries out and pushes again ”I can feel something. It hurts. So bad."
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley (Sally) - blinks slightly and gasps at Jem's eyes "I..umm..." she starts before stopping. Lea nods "Well I'm doing everything I can about that...although its not proving very effective at all." she mutters "But nearly there Jem...come on." she replies reassuringly.
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden closes her eyes as Sally stares at her. Jem turns back over to Lea and throws up, coughing. Wiping her mouth, Jem slaps her hand over her mouth and pushes once more "Im sorry about that Lea." she mutters as she takes a few deep breaths, relaxing on the sofa "Is it over?" she asks "I cant feel anything."
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley nods "Nope, its fine..." she replies trying not to breath before blinking "Ummm....I would say no...but, well...I'm not sure..."
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden snaps her eyes open "What do you mean, you dont know?" she asks, too scared and tired to move "Lea, please." she glances at Sally "Tell me whats happening. Please."
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley shakes her head "Well....theres nothing here...."Lea replies confusion written across her face as Sally nods, also confused. "But there was...I mean, I felt something eariler..."
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden grabs Lea "What do you mean theres nothing?" she snaps, glaring between them both "Where's my baby? What did you feel?"
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley winces slightly looking back at Jem "Well I felt a life form of some form...but....I literally don't know Jem..." she says, mumbling slightly.
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden lowers her eyes and covers her face with her hands, bursting into tears as she curls up into a ball on the sofa, unable to speak or do anything.
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley frowns rubbing the back of her neck "I...I don't know what to say Jem..." Lea adds before standing up and folding her arms running the events back through her mind.
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden shakes her head "No. no this cant be happening" she sobs "That was the last time I’m probably going to be able to have a baby. Our baby." she buries her head into the sofa.
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley shakes her head again rubbing her forehead thinking hard before turning around quickly at the sound of Lucas's voice "The symbols...Jem the symbols...the child was conceived after we brought Creven back using the power of the ley lines...there’s a deep superstition that the lines power could lead to a different dimension, I know it sounds crazy but what if its true?" he suggests walking back across the room, laying a hand on Lea's shoulder and glancing from Sally to Jem.
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden sits up slowly, narrowing her eyes at Lucas "Are you telling me... my baby could be in another dimension?" she growls slightly, not taking her eyes off him.
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley (Lucas) - nods "Not telling Jem, merely suggesting..." he replies looking back up at Sally "I know you've researched it, do you think its possible?" he asks quickly and Sally shrugs "Sir that was all theoretical, proof is virtually impossible, there’s no records, at least not offical ones, but I guess you wouldn't tell anyone of the official kind."
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden runs her hands through her hair as she stands up, her eyes glazed over. Jem mutters about needing some fresh air and she staggers slightly out of the room, heading to find a door out of the building, barely able to see through her tears.
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley nods at Lucas before following Jem "I want everything you've got Sally, even if its losly based on rumor." she says walking out of the door in Jem's direction, catching up with her easily.
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden walks round the corner and finds herself in a huge almost empty room. She leans against the wall, sliding down it and crumpling in a heap on the floor "Why Lea? Why is this happening?" she mutters, looking up at her sister in law "I have the other kids hating me, not wanting to come home." she lays her hands on her stomach, feeling empty "A husband who is god knows where and probably doing god know what and knows nothing of whats happening, who refuses to answer the phone to me." she wipes her eyes "What did I do to deserve this Lea? I have tried to be a good vampire, tried to only kill the bad people who have hurt me. Like Rebecca." Jem stares at her stomach, watching the sun shine on her wedding ring as a few tears fall onto it.
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley shakes her head and sits down next to Jem "I don't know...I doubt anyone knows...we just live crazy lives, and this kinda stuff happens in them...no one can explain it, perhaps it was all prophesied, already pre-planned for us to live, but I don't believe that...I believe in what I see, and that we can control our own lives. Creven will come back, my father won't, what lays ahead of us? I haven't got a clue, and I don't care...I'll deal with whatever it is, and live life to the full at the same time."
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden shakes her head as she listens "I believe it, I really do, I just dont trust a lot of things. I cant deal with all this. Not on my own." she stands slowly, shakily back up. "I have to try and find my baby, Lea." she leans her hand onto the wall to steady herself and takes a few step before falling to the floor and hitting her head. Jem cries out as she lands on the floor and lays still, not breathing.
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley nods watching Jem before standing up and rushing over to her quickly "LUCAS!" she yells towards the door returning her attention back to Jem checking her vital signs as Lucas and Sally run in through the door "Lea what is it? what’s happened?" he asks calmly kneeling down next to her watching Lea shake her head "I don't know, she just collapsed."
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden lays still, still not breathing.
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley shakes her head frowning "Lucas she’s not breathing, I don't understand it...everything else suggests shes fine...." Lea looks over to him concern in her eyes "She will be Lea, just focus."
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden gasps and sits up in one quick movement, her hand flying her her head as she pushes some matted hair from her face ”What happened? Why is everyone staring at me?" she glances round, her gaze stopping over Leas shoulder and she turns bright red, ducking her head and hugging her knees to her chest "Its happening again." she whimpers, closing her eyes.
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley blinks "You just collapsed..." Lea states simply and looks at Lucas who shrugs "Jem whats happening?" he asks laying a hand on her shoulder.
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden shakes her head at Lucas's question "I don’t know. I feel stupid." she mutters, flicking her eyes up to behind Lea again and shuddering as she closes her eyes "Hes going to be mad at me." she sobs, laying her head on Lea.
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley shakes her head wrapping an arm around Jem "Forget about him, right now concentrate on yourself...."
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden shakes her head, squeezing her eyes shut "How can I when I see him everywhere I look, Lea?" she whispers.
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley sighs "Well...right now my priority is on you.”
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden opens her eyes slightly and screams, scooting back from Lea as the shadow holds his hand out to her and disappears. Jem stares behind Lea, her eyes glazing over slightly.
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley jumps moving away from Jem slightly "Jem what is it?" she asks quickly as Lucas walks over offering Lea and hand dragging her to her feet "Jem?"
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden seemingly stares into space "No! Take it away. Get me out of here. away from him!" she screams, frozen to the spot.
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley blinks waking backwards into Lucas "Who Jem?" she asks quickly glancing up at Lucas.
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden coughs uncontrollably as she snaps back, glancing at everyone, frowning "What the?" she holds her head "I don’t feel too good right now."
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley nods brushes Lucas's arms away from her and walking back across to Jem offering her a hand "Okay...I...Lucas, can this have anything to do with the ley lines?" she asks looking back over at him and watches him shrug "yes, I guess, Lea I don't really know, I really don’t."
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden glances at Lea and then to Lucas, a look on her face of confusion, mixed with worry as she takes Leas hand "What’s happening to me?" she asks "And where’s Sally?”
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley shakes her head again "You're guess is probably as good as if not better than ours." Lea says glancing up at Sally stood in the doorway "I'm here...still..."
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden looks at Lea, still confused "I have no idea." she whispers before looking over at Sally "Have you found him yet?" she asks, a pleading look of desperation in her voice and eyes.
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley (Sally) - nods "Yes...well kind of..." she says before looking over at Lucas and Lea "Lucas I'm having all my ley line work sent over to Calanon Castle for you." she says before slipping out of the room. Lucas nods watching her "A place we should all return too."
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden smiles slightly, briefly at Sally’s words and sighs as she leaves the room "I want to go back home to Calanon Castle. Where I know where I am." she wraps her arms round her knees as she brings them to her chin, blinking tears away quickly.
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley (Lucas) - nods walking over to Jem "We'll have to leave this building, then Lea can apparate us all back there."
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden scoffs slightly as she slowly stands up "I can apparate, you know." she grumbles before looking at the state of herself "Maybe not right now though." she mutters.
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley (Lucas) - smiles and nods "That’s why I suggested it." Lea also nods offering a hand to Jem "Come on, the sooner the better." she mutters before leading her out of the door.
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden nods slightly and follows behind Lea, keeping her eyes away from the room she had given birth in.
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley guides Jem out of the front door, waiting for Lucas to join them before taking his hand apparating them all outside of Calanon Castle. Lea walks over to the door, unlocking it and holds it open for Jem to walk in.
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden gasps as they appear outside the Castle. She walks cautiously through the front door, holding her breath "I have to get something from Crevens office." she mutters as she heads towards it.
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley nods watching her walk up the stairs "Yell if you need anything...but you should really get some rest." Lea suggests as Lucas locks the front door behind them giving a couple of instructions to a house elf, before wrapping his arms around Lea's waist.
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden shakes her head as she walks up the stairs "Some tea maybe." she calls out over her shoulder as she walks into Crevens office and heads over to the desk and sits in his chair, running her over her stomach as she bursts into tears.
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley nods walking towards the kitchen to make a pot of tea "Lucas this is all crazy.." Lea comments as the kettle boils. Lucas nods "I know Lea, but we'll work it out..somehow."
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden wipes her eyes and takes a deep breath as she reaches out to pick the letter up. She frowns and searches the floor and all around the desk, confused. The door. Jem looks over at it. It was shut when she came in, but she knew she hadn’t shut it properly. Frowning, Jem sits back down chewing her nails as she curls up in Crevens chair. If he had been home and read it, she knew she would be in trouble with him now.
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley quickly makes the tea and shrugs "yeah...hopefully.." she comments before smiling up at Lucas, kissing his cheek and heading towards the stairs and Creven's office.
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden leans over to turn on the lamp on the desk as she hears footsteps on the stairs. She curls back up, keeping her eyes on the door, the tears still flowing down her cheeks, slowly.
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley knocks on the door before entering and placing the tea in front of Jem "There you go...." she states simply with a soft smile.
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden nods a thank you to Lea "Did the house elves mention something, anything, about a note in here?" she asks, frowning. "I wrote Creven a letter before I was kidnapped, and I wanted to tear it up now Im back. I left it here." she points to the middle of the desk "And now I cant find it."
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley shakes her head "No, they've hadn't said anything...generally they don't really touch anything unless they have too."
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden sighs "Great." she grumbles "Considering no one else has been here, and the letter has gone." she stares into the cup on the desk "Does that mean he has been back here?" she asks.
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley shrugs "I'm not sure...possibly...why Jem? what did it say?”
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden sighs and picks up her cup "Telling him about the kids not wanting to come home from Olympus. How I cant stay here without him, not knowing here he is. How it was killing me. I begged him to come home. And how much I love him." she sniffs, setting the cup down and wiping her eyes again before looking up at Lea "How can I stay here without him Lea? Does he not know how much I love him?" she tucks her hair behind her ears "Does he even love me still?"
<GRY> Phoenix LeaWeasley nods "He does love you Jem...I can promise you that!" she explains before leaning on the edge of Creven's desk.
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden shakes her head as she stands up, angry "How can you promise me that Lea? Where is he?" she half yells at her sister in law "Where is he when I need him the most." she growls lowly and storm out of the office "If he loved me he would answer his phone to me!" she screams as she storms into the bedroom and slams the door behind her. She drinks her tea, shaking slightly and shifts to her wolf form and lets out a low howl before she curls up in the middle of the floor, not sleeping, just listening, and keeping her eyes on the door.
<SLY> VampireCalanon JemHayden lifts her head up a few times in the night, hearing Lucas and Lea walking about the castle and heading to bed. Jem stands up and pushes the door open with her nose, whining quietly as she walks in silence down the stairs, still in her wolf form, as she sniffs around the while of the second floor, stopping outside Creven office, pawing at the door as she hears movement inside. The door opens and a house elf walks out. Jem snarls at it, watching it scurry off before sniffing the door, confused. She could smell Creven s scent, stronger than it was yesterday. Jem sighs and turns round, walking back to the stairs, pausing briefly outside Corbin’s office. She knew it wasn’t going to be the same without him here. She knew Lea wouldn't be the same, and as for Creven. Jem shakes her head and bounds down the stairs and heads for the front door. Creven s reaction to Corbin’s death would be the worst she had every known, made worse by the fact his son has done it. Jem barks a few times, watching another house elf muttering under its breath as it opens the door for her. She runs out into the garden, her nose to the floor, following a few rabbit’s scents around the garden to try and distract her. She snaps her head up hearing a rustle in the bush and growls, ready to pounce, taking a few steps back at the gleaming eyes staring at her. She tilts her head, slightly surprised at the common garden fox staring at her before she barks at it and watches it run off. Turning round, Jem heads for a tree and curls up, just able to see the front gates from where she was laid, the night sky hiding her from view. <This is where Im going to sleep every night> she rests her head on her paws. She flicks her tail <I cant sleep in that house anymore. Not after what’s happened.> She lays, howling and whining mournfully all throughout the night at the loss of most of her family.
