Creven and Lea (Part 1 - but I cant find part 2 yet)

Lea looks up west suburban London Street making note of the style and sizes of the houses with their impressive architecture; however her eyes lingered on the manor house at the far end, still clearly visible at the end, its many windows glinting in the morning sun. She glances up at the man stood next to her, slightly taller in height, his black her ending in bright violet, slightly hanging in front of his black eyes. Lea looks back down the street her brother following her gaze, stood together it was clear they were brother and sister their features only differing slightly due to their different mothers. "Are you sure you want to do this?" She asks Creven who turns to face her locking their black eyes together. "Course I am Sister, we have to try at least...just stick to the plan okay?" He says and smiles slightly down at her. Never before had they done something like this with only the two of them. Lea nods smiling back up at him "Sure, you cause a distraction, I sneak into that manor, find Dorian then you and we all run like hell." she replies trying to keep a smile of her face, it was a basic plan, full of risk with no backups but that was how Creven worked and Lea quite liked the spontaneity of it. Creven lays a hand on Lea's shoulder "Come on its now or never." he says determined and begins to walk down the street. Lea nods and follows at his side. Silently they walk toward the manor house stopping just outside its gates where Creven turns to face Lea again. "Are you sure we can trust him? That he wasn't planning this?" he asks looking directly at her. Again Lea nods "I know things may seem suspicious but we can trust Dorian, he's a good person, honest and true. He respects respect and truth above everything else. Dorian’s father may crave power but Dorian himself doesn't, he's one of my oldest friends Creven I know what he's like." Lea explains looking back at Creven who nods "I understand." he replies simply looking back up at the house "I can give you ten minutes Max." he continues as Lea nods "that's all I need." she smiles at him watching as he takes his Kitsune form and disappears around a corner.
Lea takes a deep breath and walks through the gate up to the front door of the manor. Out of her pocket she pulls a small pen knife and a hairpin, she smirks to herself as she begins to pick the lock, a talent learnt from her father. She listens carefully trying to block out the noises of a fox barking from around the back of the house. Lea shakes her head concentrating on her work trying to get it done quickly, she didn't have much time.
Creven runs around to the side of the house after jumping over the gate in his fox form. Quickly he runs around to the back where he begins to bark and run around trying to draw all attention to the back of the house giving Lea the time and chance to sneak in through the front door. He continues to make a noise as the back door opens and a couple of vampires walk out to see what was going on, also aware he was being watched from the windows.
The vampires laugh and point finding it funny that a lone Kitsune had walked into their home, guessing he probably didn't know who they were, and one even muttered something about it wanting help. Aware that he was slowly being surrounded Creven lowers the volume of his barking pretending to limp around in a circle. Trapped in a circle he sits down and licks his paw trying to keep up the appearance, his powers wouldn't work here
Lea shuts Creven’s distraction out of her mind listening to the sounds of the door. On hearing a small click Lea smiles to herself and gently pushes the door open a small amount. She steps inside hearing Creven growing quieter and looks down at her watch, unlocking the door had taken longer than she'd hoped and gave her less time for her next task. She quietly shuts the door and walks across the
hall way towards the stairs. Dorian had a room on the third floor and Lea was guessing that's where he would be...or would he? His father was a cruel man; it was more likely that instead of locking his son upstairs he would be down, below the manor. Lea knew of a cellar below from dark stories Dorian had told her...and the entrance to the cellar was behind the stairs. She glances around again before taking walking towards the stairs and quickly slips behind them hearing someone walking down. "That fox has made a big mistake coming here, alone...I think it’s time to teach him a lesson before sending him home as a warning." a deep voice says loudly greeted by a laugh before walking through a side door towards the back of the house. Lea frowns and quickly opens the cellar door before slipping through it. She closes it behind her and quickly makes her way down the dark corridor, occasionally lit by flaming torches, a creepy touch. Lea pauses sensing movement, unsure of which direction it was coming from she walks away from the nearest light hoping the darkness would conceal her until feeling a cold hand around the back of her throat. Lea tenses resisting the temptation to swear before listening to a woman’s voice coming from behind her. "Now now what do we have here." the woman’s cold voice comes behind her into her ear. Lea suppresses a shiver and begins to answer as the hand tightens. "I was just going for a walk, must have taken the wrong path." she bluffs. The voice laughs and Lea immediately recognises it. "Helen?" she asks trying to turn her head slightly. Helen loosens her grip and walks around in front of Lea still with her hand at her throat only with a much weaker grip. "You shouldn't be here Lea, it’s not safe...I don't even know how you got in." Helen murmurs quietly as if not wanting to be heard. Lea shakes her head "None of that matters...where's Dorian?" she asks quickly as Helen removes her hand and points to a door at the far end "You should be warned Lea, he isn't well...I would have helped him but Elijah is well...Elijah." Helen explains and Lea nods walking towards the door "my brother was causing a distraction so I could get in...Helen, I need your help to find him and get out of here." Lea says laying a hand on the handle, Helen keeps back from the door watching her "I’ll go back upstairs and see what I can do..." she whispers and disappears down the dark corridor as Lea opens the door and steps through.
Creven whines and licks his paw again watching as they tighten the circle around him. He frowns to himself trying to work out the best way of escape hoping that Lea had been able to get through the front door. Creven looks up as Elijah walks out of the back door and swears in his mind. He was hoping that Elijah would have been out. "Hello again Creven" he says as he walks through the crowd of people as Creven takes his human form "Elijah, what a surprise to find you here." Creven responds. Elijah laughs at him "I was going to say the same about you..." Elijah replies motioning to two vampires who grip onto both of Creven’s arms. "You and I need a little talk Creven." Elijah continues and leads them back into the house through to one of the main front rooms where Creven is forced into his knees as Elijah turns to face him "let's have a little fun shall we with this fox." he laughs taking a step towards him. Creven keeps his eyes fixed on Elijah as he stands towering over him. "Now Creven the puzzling thing is why you are here today?" Elijah whispers to him before tracing a finger down the front of Creven's neck. The two men now keeping a forceful pressure on his shoulders prevent him from moving even the slightest in natural recoil from Elijah. Creven smirks up at him hoping Lea would be quick; he wasn't planning on a full blown fight tonight. "I just missed your presence" he taunts and Elijah sneers before ordering his men to release him, "So fox let's see how good you really are in a fight." He laughs before motioning for one of his men to step forwards. "Yes let's." Creven replies before taking his fox form and circling the vampire. Creven strikes forward at the back of the man’s knees causing him to fall to the floor before springing around sinking his
teeth into the flesh of the man’s neck. Elijah claps watching "So who's next?" He asks looking down at Creven as another man steps forward keen to show his leader his strength. For the next three vampires Creven knocks the down and goes for the neck, the four was much larger and older going for the attack first trying to get behind Creven to one of his tails. His concentration on the man behind him Creven was unexpecting of the kick which met the side of his head momentarily stunning him. Again Elijah laughs "A little fact about me Creven, I don't fight fair!" He laughs letting two more men join the fight
Lea takes a deep breath as she steps through the door and blinks letting her eyes adjust to the light. The ceiling was covered in lights, uv tubes creating a strong natural light, a light which had the properties to weaken vampires and why they weren't often found in hot sunny places. Once her eyes has adjusted to the brightness Lea looks around at the small square room, its white painted brick walls to reflect the light and black floor to absorb and keep and heat. Lea bites her lip as she notices the only thing in the room, Dorian curled up in a corner on the floor. She walks across after wedging the door open with her pen knife to stop it from closing after noting there was only a handle on the outside. Bending down next to him Lea takes in Dorian’s appearance, his skin much paler, hair less shiny but most of all he looked thin, his closed eyes looked more drawn in and darker. Lea shakes her head "how can your father do this to you?" she whispers, more of a comment than anything. Lea softly trails her fingertips down his cheek tracing the line of his jaw bone about to try and wake him but removes her hand quickly as Dorian blinks open gleaming bright red eyes. Lea gasps in surprise never having seen such a blood red colour in his eyes before, quickly although slightly clumsily Dorian pushes Lea over onto her back kneeling across her his head at her neck, the tips of his fangs brushing her soft flesh.
Creven yelps as one of the vampires grabs hold of one of his three tails and bites into it before releasing his bite and doing the same further down his tail. Ignoring the pain he snaps forward at anything he can find while trying to keep his other tails out of reach. Elijah laughs watching the attack; he had seen Creven take done at least eight of his men, either dead or currently nursing major wounds while many of the others had bites or scratches. Feeling the tip of a blade against the base of one of his tails Creven quickly takes his human form, more out of the shock, he was also not planning on losing one due to the pain and sudden loss of power. Elijah claps his hands and the vampires back away from his as Creven begins to stand up, some of his injures in fox form carried through to his human form, a bruise already appearing underneath his eye from the first distracted kick he had received. "Well Creven I am impressed, you put on a better show than I was expecting." Elijah smiles and takes a step forward as Creven stands up to his full height. "Well I aim to please." he spits back rubbing his arm. "A family trait no doubt...along with your fighting skill...through marriage too I expect." Elijah sneers and Creven tilts his head to the side "what's that supposed to mean?" he asks glaring at Elijah knowing he was talking about Jem. "Well your wife has the taste for blood and killing, Kyson says she's one of his best employees." he laughs at the confused look in Creven’s face "well what did you think she did when you weren't at home? Paint?" Creven shakes his head in disbelief "she would never work for Kyson!" he yells back at Elijah who laughs again "Not even to prove to you that she's a worthy assassin, the risk people are willing to put themselves at to prove something to the ones they love is quite remarkable." Elijah finishes as two men grab Creven to stop him launching himself at Elijah who takes another step towards him running a finger down Creven’s neck "Your aunts blood was delicious, I wonder if the taste runs in the family..." he whispers into Creven’s ear.
Lea gasps her breath knocked out of her not expecting Dorian’s sudden movement. She tries to push him off her with little success; even in a weakened state he possessed more strength than she did. Lea freezes feeling the sharp tips of his fangs against her neck. "Dorian it’s me," she starts hoping he would recognise her voice. Her speech ignored she feels the tips if his fangs biting through the layers if her skin searching for the nearest vain and her blood. Lea winces with the pain, stronger than it normally was due to her fear, not much could stop a feeding vampire who had been starved and tortured. On his teeth piercing a vain Lea feels him grip her shoulder tightly drinking more ferociously than he had done from her before. "Dorian stop...it’s me, Lea." she manages ignoring the sensations coming from her neck. At the mention if her name Dorian sits up and moves away from her, the redness if his eyes dulled slightly with a flood of emotion running through them. Lea sits up and shuffles backwards leaning against the nearest wall wrapping a hand over the bite at her neck, blood staining the top corner if her shirt. Dorian wipes his mouth with the back of his hand wiping away any blood. "L-Lea I’m sorry" he says across to her with a cracked voice. In reply she shakes her head, her powers already healing the bite "it’s fine Dorian." she says keeping her eyes fixed on him, already he looked a little better for the blood and she just sits and watches him until remembering she was wasting time, time she didn't have. Quickly she stands up and offers Dorian a hand "we have to leave now...I know what your father did with Kyson..." he nods and takes her hand pulling himself up to stand and face her "Lea I tried to stop him...I’m sorry." Lea nods and guides him to the door, opening it and walking out into the dark corridor, black against the brightness of the room behind them. "Dorian I know...but right now Creven is the one in danger." Dorian smiles at the darkness taking a deep breath before looking back at her. "Creven is here? I didn't think he’d believe the truth..." he replies surprised before walking down the corridor at Lea's side "thank you for coming, I think my father was planning on leaving me down there for eternity..." he whispers gripping Leas hand slightly "don't thank me yet, let's wait until the three if us are safely away from here." she replies quickening her pace. On reaching the end of the corridor Lea turns the door handle with her free hand, someone else opening it from the outside. Lea frowns preparing herself before Helen smiles at Dorian over Leas shoulder, Lea shakes her hand and breathes a sigh of relief, but frowns at the look on Helens face as she looks at Lea "I'm sorry they have Creven..." Helen explains helping them both through the doorway but keeping them concealed behind the door. Dorian shakes his head "Not for long Helen...I need you to do something for me" Dorian says quietly, some of his strength regained. Helen nods "of course anything Dorian." she replies and smiles at him. Dorian nods and smiles back before explaining his plan, Lea listens and raises her eyebrows once he has finished "you've been planning this for a while.." she accuses him but he shakes his head "only since you said he was here...my father is too predictable when it comes to prisoners." Helen nods in agreement and Lea smiles slightly at their plan before walking over to the side door, Lea on one side Dorian the other. Helen nods to both before knocking and walking in to the room; Dorian frowns and looks at Lea "I smell blood...Kitsune blood."
Creven stares at the floor over Elijah’s shoulder, not wanting to believe him about Jem. How could it be true? How could she work for Kyson after everything that had happened! Everything he'd done. Creven runs things through his mind, she didn't have to prove anything to him, he had talked things through with his father and was willing to train Jem, but this was reckless of her, a type of action would, could get her hurt or worse. Creven snaps back into the present as he feels Elijah’s sharp fangs puncture his skin over the scar of a previous bite mark. He feels the grip on his arms and shoulders tighten before realising that his knees were going weaker. The pain in his neck was hot
and searing and felt like it was spreading. Elijah laughs and takes a step back, blood trickling down his chin "even better than your aunt." he comments licking his lips "oh you may experience a bit of pain over the next few hours...due to the vampire venom currently flowing through your blood stream, but take that worried look off your face it’s not enough to turn you...I have no need of a turned Kitsune pet...for now at least.” He laughs again joined by the others. The men holding Creven release him but he manages to stay in his feet until one of them pushes him over. Again they laugh and Creven glares up at Elijah, the purple in his eyes gleaming bright.
Creven places a hand against his neck feeling his skin warm and sticky with his blood. He blinks a few times trying to focus and ignore the pain, only slightly aware of Elijah and the other taunting vampires surrounding him. Elijah walks back over to him and tips his chin up "I think you'd make an excellent pet Creven...I wonder what your dear wife would think if I created a blood bond with you..." Elijah laughs again as Creven tries to get his eyes to focus on him. "Look at me and stand up Creven." Elijah orders with Creven swiftly following his commands blinking and placing a hand over his forehead. Elijah smirks watching him "perhaps I should let you go, then race Jem to turn you first." he sniggers before looking over at the door as it opens and Helen walks in. She smiles across at Elijah glancing at Creven "I hope I haven't missed all the good stuff!" she says walking across as Elijah shakes his head "oh no dear Helen we were just getting started." Elijah replies smiling and Helen lays a hand on his arm "perhaps we should lock him up for now. He’ll be more fun with his wits about him." she suggests following Dorian’s plan. Elijah pauses to think before nodding "I believe you are right there...more blood too." he smiles at her "will you do the honours Helen...lock him up in the dark downstairs." Helen nods getting a tight grip on Creven’s arm "gladly sir." she replies tugging his arm and walking out of the room, the door shutting quickly behind her.
Lea quickly shuts the door behind Helen and Creven quickly using her already positioned pen knife and hair grips to lock the door. She turns around to face them both "my god Creven what happened?" she says shocked. Helen shakes her head walking towards the door " go now...don't linger here..." she explains as Creven takes leas hand. Dorian walks over to the door opening it before turning back to Helen "they'll know you helped.." he says with a tone of worry but Helen shakes her head "I can fool your father...just go now!" she urges. Lea nods walking over to the door. "Thank you Helen." Creven and Lea say at the same time before she nods and disappears upstairs while Lea, Creven and Dorian head out of the door shutting it behind them walking as quickly as possible down the street before letting Lea apparates them all back to the safety of Calanon Castle.
